BSHES-530-1: Program Evaluation - Spring 2022
Course Description
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the academic background, technical skills and field experience to conduct a public health -related program evaluation. This class encompasses the development of data about the health status, knowledge, perceptions, attitudes, motivation, and health practices of a population or community and its socioeconomic environment. The course assignments are a mix of individual and team assignments. Students will work with a team that will prepare a program evaluation report and presentation for a particular community/organization through community engaged learning. The program evaluation process forms the basis for class topics and class assignments.
