NRSG-528-2: Adv Physiology/Pathophysiology - Fall 2021
Advanced Physiology and Pathophysiology
Graduate students will recognize and analyze the relationship between normal physiology and function to structural and functional changes in cells/tissues/organs that underlie selected diseases.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Relate advanced knowledge of human cellular, organ, and system physiology to human functioning.
- Discuss reciprocal relationships between physiologic processes in selected pathways, organs, and systems.
- Discuss the pathophysiologic basis of selected diseases.
- Relate knowledge of pathophysiologic changes to case study discussion and to the clinical practice setting.
