Helpful Tips

- Review instructions here
- Contact Emory Zoom support if you have questions
15 minutes before your Zoom class meeting:
- Find a quiet space with reliable wi-fi
- Open your Zoom link provided by your instructor
- Test your headphones, microphone and camera to make sure the class can hear and see you (and vice versa)
- It’s recommended to close any windows or applications not related to your class, especially if you will be asked to share your screen as part of class participation.
- Also recommended to mute your mic until it’s your time to speak.
- If you are not using video, upload a good profile pic of your face to your Zoom account.
Enjoy your class! Remember that mistakes can happen, and your instructor and classmates may take some time to find the best virtual class format. If you have further questions or need help: Emory Zoom Support

- Keep your mic muted until your time to speak. Microphones pick up any type of background noise.
