Student Assignments
Use Canvas Studio to have students share video assignments. This is a great way to get them to study and create additional review resources at the same time!
Here are a few ideas to get started:
Create a Music Video:
Students, in groups of up to seven, will submit a music video that contains lyrics that tie together concepts from across the semester. Accuracy, content, and creativity will be evaluated.

The following must be included to receive full credit:
- Detailed,step-by-step arrow pushing mechanism explaining the reaction below.
- Description of the orbitals involved in the key steps (s*, p*, etc).
- Reaction coordinate diagram depicting all intermediates and transition states and their relative energies.
- Answers to the following two questions:
- How might you speed up the reaction (Le Chatelier’s)?
- What would you predict the ∆G and K for this reaction to be?
Accuracy, clarity, and content will be used for grading following the rubric disclosed.
