It focuses on building learning environments that enable students to succeed regardless of physical disability, learning disability, mode of accessing your course, or any other factors. Universal Design is the idea of making everything in your online courses accessible to ALL students. This means creating content that is not only well designed, but it is also functional and comprehensible.
