Published versus Draft State
Most things in Canvas are governed by Published status. Anything not published is considered unpublished, draft, or restricted. Key things to know are:
- Students cannot see unpublished content.
- Students cannot see published content included in an unpublished module.
- You cannot unpublished an assignment after students make submissions.
